To ensure a disciplined, fair, and productive environment for all users, we uphold the following policies:
General Conduct - Silence must be maintained - disruptive behavior will result in disciplinary action.
No eating, drinking, or smoking is permitted inside the library.
Personal belongings (bags, books, etc.) must be left at the counter before entry.
Overdue fines apply books must be returned before annual stock-checking in June.
Borrower’s cards are mandatory.
Books are non-transferable and must be returned in good condition.
Restricted Materials - Reference books (encyclopedias, rare texts, journals) cannot be borrowed—for in-library use only.
Current journals are not issued until the next edition arrives.
New books/journals remain on display for 15 days for review before circulation.
Additional Guidelines - Departmental libraries may maintain specialized books but must allow access to all staff.
Bound journals are treated as books and follow standard borrowing rules.
Suggestions/complaints should be submitted to the Teacher-in-Charge (Library).
Violations may lead to membership suspension.
